SUN & ENERGY
The sun is an inexhaustible source of energy for the Earth. Its center temperature may be about 14 million degrees Celsius from the hydrogen reaction to form an atom of helium gas, resulting in very high radiation and heat emitted into space.
Earth atmosphere gets of that energy about 1360 watts per meter which reach the surface of the earth about 1000 watts per square meter where Some energy is dispersed or reflected on different atmospheric layers.
Solar energy that reaches the earth takes two main forms of energy Photovoltaic and thermal energy, both of which can be used and utilized.
Solar photovoltaic energy is used directly in the production of electricity, unlike thermal energy. The properties of some semiconductor materials are used to produce electricity. This property has been used since the middle of the 20th century.
The Arab region is one of the highest in terms of solar energy, where it is twice as high (or more) than many countries.
